Madelyn Reusser has been a massage therapist and healer for over 30 years and has repeatedly witnessed the profound effect lymphatic drainage massage can have on both medical outcomes and quality of life. She is committed to delivering the finest care available in a beautiful, serene, and nurturing environment.
Madelyn completed her massage training at the Institute for holistic studies in Santa Barbara in 1987 and was first introduced to manual lymphatic drainage in 2005 and she was diagnosed with a breast issue. She found lymphatic therapy to be an extraordinary alternative to traditional treatment routes such as biopsies and other surgical interventions.
Being impressed with her healing experience with manual lymphatic drainage, she began her studies at the center for lymphatic health in 2006 and subsequently started working there under the nearly a decade long mentorship of lymphatic therapy pioneer and expert Allen Mills. She was his assistant teacher for two years there before launching her solo practice in 2015.
She is certified as a Lymphatic Therapist by the Center for Lymphatic Health in Santa Barbara,Arcturus Star, the Chikly Health Institute , as well as holding a national certification from the Academy Of Lymphatic Studies in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Advanced Post Cosmetic Procedure Protocols. She is also certified by Ace cupping in lymphatic cupping.
Madelyn’s mentor’s mentor’s mentor was Hildegard Whitlinger who was assistant to Emil Vodder, who developed the classic form of manual lymphatic drainage. She ran all of the Vodderschools of lymphatic therapy in the US, so Madelyn’s foundational understanding of the Vodder technique and philosophy runs deep.
